Bene was a young female Human and student at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant during the years leading up to and including the Clone Wars. With blonde hair and a medium build, Bene was a contemporary of other Jedi trainees such as Whie Malreaux and such Jedi Knights as Cin Drallig. Too young to actively participate in the Clone Wars, Bene's skills in the Force still needed honing. In the Clone Wars' third year, Bene found herself studying under Master Drallig in lightsaber combat and techniques.

When Darth Vader launched his attack against the Jedi and the Jedi Temple. As Vader stormed his way through the Temple with his legions of clonetroopers, Bene and the Jedi did their best to defend not only their home, but their lives as well. As Vader engaged the Jedi, Bene accompanied Master Drallig and Padawan Whie Malreaux in launching a three-on-one attack against the Sith Lord.

Unfortunately, the Dark Side of the Force proved to be too strong that day, even within the Jedi Temple's hallowed halls. While Darth Vader fought Cin Drallig lightsaber to lightsaber with one hand, he used his other to choke the life out of Bene using only the Force. Bene would not be the last Jedi to become one with the Force on that fateful day which marked the beginning of the Jedi Purge.
