With his Jedi skills, Geith was making considerable progress by predicting the ship's automatic firing pattern. However, a change caught him unaware and the Eye of Palpatine destroyed the Blastboat, sending Geith to become one with the Force. Callista remained on the ship, trapped until only her essence remained. Years later, Jeid Knight Luke Skywalker boarded the ship and with the help of Callista's presence and the Force, finally completed the mission begun by Geith and Callista decades earlier.
