The Jedi-killer claimed many Jedi lives previously, and J'Mikel joined that list as he became one with the Force. J'Mikel's Padawan, Xiaan, was unfortunately too young and was unable to assist her Master in his fight. Fortunate for her, Aurra Sing recognized her youth as well and left her without harm, except of course the haunting images of her master being murdered.
