Jedi Master Kagoro was a Jedi of the Old Republic. He was perhaps best known for his thoughts on materialism and the Jedi way. Kagoro felt that possessions were a distraction to a Jedi's connection to the Force and thus advocated as little possessions as possible among Jedi Knights. A memorable quote by Kagoro sums up those beliefs:

'I wear my robe so that I am warm; I carry my lightsaber that I am safe; and I keep enough credits for my next meal, so that I am not hungry. If the Force wants me to have more, it finds a way of letting me know.'
