During the fight, Minch did manage to strike a fatal blow upon the Dark Jedi Master and the illusions came to an end. As the Master's life faded, he wanted Minch to know that he in fact won the battle, that Minch's mind was weak and susceptible to fear and anger, and that he had failed. The Takara had arrived and it was time for Minch to go. Despite its existence as an unknown, backwater planet, Dagobah absorbed an immense amount of Force energy during its existence from this incident and events that would occur there centuries later involving Jedi Master Yoda.
