T'un was a Jedi Master during the time of the Old Republic and had a long history of service to the Jedi Knights. Over hundreds of years old, T'un had acquired much knowledge of the Jedi Knights, and this knowledge served him well when he came in charge of the records in the Jedi Temple. T'un attained this position about sixty years before the Battle of Naboo and was in charge of all the secret records and files of the Temple. Every year, T'un would take on two new students who would volunteer to help T'un in his record keeping.
