Tohno was a beautiful young Jedi Knight of the Old Republic. When the Clone Wars took the life of her Master, Tohno became one of the many students left orphaned by the war. Nonetheless, her skills as a required were required by the nature of her time. Even without a Master, Tohno was still tasked with mission to complete for the Jedi. One of those missions took her to the backwater planet of Zaadja where she was teamed up with Jedi Knights Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker.

The planet Zaadja, an otherwise unimportant and easily forgettable world, had become home to a new droid factory for the Geonosians and the Separatists. Obi-Wan and Anakin were put in charge of the clonetroopers for the mission, while Tohno's unique knowledge of explosives and demolitions were necessary for the destruction of the factory. With the factory heavily guarded by thousands of battle droids, a plan was needed to get past their defenses. Jedi Masters Mace Windu and Oppo Rancisis came up with plan to use Obi-Wan and Anakin's clone armies to create a diversion giving Tohno a chance to secretly infiltrate the factory and plant the explosives.

From the beginning of the mission, young Skywalker was taken aback at how such a young Jedi would be given such a dangerous mission and had no hesitations about voicing his objections. But Tohno and Obi-Wan allayed his fears reminding him that, as a Jedi, Tohno understood and accepted the risks of the mission. She would do her duty the same as any other Knight. The morning the plan was executed, the trio of Jedi split up as Tohno made her way into the factory and Obi-Wan and Anakin moved into position for the diversion.
