Hoping to find Qui Xux on Vortex, a former scientist who worked at the Maw Installation but left to join the New Republic. Unfortunately for Daeshara, Qui Xux had no information to give her, and so, Daeshara'cor left for Garos IV. Jedi Knights Anakin Solo, Luke Skywalker, Mara Jade Skywalker, and a spaceport ruffian, Chalco, who saw Daeshara'cor board the ship to Vortex, were hot on her trail and followed her to Garos IV. While Luke and company went off on a separate agenda, Anakin and Chalco left to find Daeshara. But the Twi'lek was aware of their presence as well, and, her mind clouded by thoughts of the destruction of the Vong, ambushed Anakin and captured him. But Chalco proved to be a good friend and came looking for Anakin, giving him just enough time to get the jump on Daeshara and knock her out.

Anakin took Daeshara to the planet of Ithor, where the Jedi were gathered. There, Daeshara renounced and apologized for her hatred and her mission of vengeance. Luke Skywalker accepted her apology, and soon the Jedi were faced with the arrival of the Vong to the Ithor system, which is the beginning of the Battle of Ithor. The Vong land on Ithor, and send troops to board the Tafanda Bay, the floating city above Ithor where thousands of Ithorians live. There, Daeshara'cor fought along side Anakin Solo, but is poisoned by a Yuuzhan Vong amphistaff in an attempt to protect him. Anakin and Daeshara were able to make their way to a safe area, but it is there that the poison overwhelmed her. With Anakin by her side, Daeshara told Anakin of the Jedi's collective pride in him and the great Jedi he has become. With those as her dying words, her body faded from existence, and Daeshara'cor, Twi'lek Jedi Knight became one with the Force.
