The final conflict of this era between the Sith and the Jedi would come in the form of Lord Kaan's Sith Brotherhood of Darkness. Seven epic battles were fought, but again the Sith were plagued by infighting amongst themselves. From the ashes of this defeat, Darth Bane, the only Sith to survive the ordeal, transformed the order from a system of chaos and betrayal to one of secrecy and tradition. For the next two millenia, the Sith passed down their traditions from one Master to one apprentice, waiting for just the right time to make their final strike against the Jedi.
